Notes: I want to say THANK YOU to the mods for putting up with me! I'm normally a very slow writer to begin with, but this story was torturous to get finished. I finally finished it though, and I hope it lives up to the prompter's expectations. This story assumes that Harry didn't remember the shard of Sirius' mirror in his bag until much later, thus the Trio is held captive in the cellar of Malfoy Manor overnight. It also includes the delicious deleted scene of Deathly Hallows Part 2, wherein Draco throws Harry his wand at the Battle of Hogwarts, because I just couldn't leave that out! The title of the story is from the song "Waiting for the End" on the album A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park.
Summary: Held captive in Malfoy Manor's cellar, Harry is certain that this is the end for him. He might as well take the little bit of happiness that Draco Malfoy is offering. Things get more complicated when he doesn't die after all.
